August 2024: MLS Innovator Network Recap & Insights

By Modern.tech | August 22, 2024

The MLS Innovator Network is an exclusive group of MLS & Association Executives who meet monthly to discuss the latest technology trends and hear pitches from two well-vetted PropTech companies. On August 21st, 2024, the Network heard pitches from two incredible PropTech companies: Sidekick and Roomvo.

Company #1: Sidekick

Michael Martin, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Sidekick, introduced the platform as an AI assistant built to help agents, teams, and brokerages increase productivity with a single interaction point for administrative work to get done. Powered by Gen AI, this platform is capable of performing multiple sequential actions to save time, such as pulling data directly from the MLS to create market reports, run searches, and find listings in seconds. The platform can also manage the user’s inbox and calendar to push administrative tasks out the door faster.

Company #2: Roomvo

Roomvo, presented by Ben Quinn, showcased how their home visualization integration promises to bring listings to life. The integration uses Gen AI to enhance user experience and allow consumers to redesign rooms to their taste in real time, using existing photos from the listing. They shared valuable insights on how this tool has increased portal actions by the user, such as an increase in inquiries and more time spent on the platform.
