September 2024: MLS Innovator Network Recap & Insights

The MLS Innovator Network is an exclusive group of MLS & Association Executives who meet monthly to discuss the latest technology trends and hear pitches from two well-vetted PropTech companies. On September 18th, 2024, the Network heard pitches from two incredible PropTech companies: Local Logic and PlanetRE.

 

Company #1: Local Logic

Local Logic, presented by Josh Partridge, showcased how their solution simplifies the understanding of location data for home buyers and professionals alike. The platform offers a comprehensive overview of an area's livability by presenting local demographics, data displays, and heatmaps in an easily digestible format. The platform aims to enhance listings with rich, location-specific data, and empower real estate professionals to offer a more informed and tailored service to their clients. Partridge highlighted that by integrating with Local Logic, MLSs can provide a more nuanced view of properties, aiding in decision-making and adding value to their service offerings. 

 

Company #2: PlanetRE 

PlanetRE’s latest product, Sherlock AI Image Piracy, is a solution designed to combat the unauthorized use of MLS photos. The product employs advanced AI algorithms to meticulously scan the web, identifying and flagging instances where MLS images are used without permission, helping MLSs take quicker action to protect their images. The solution aims to streamline the process of detecting image piracy, protecting the intellectual property rights and ensuring MLSs maintain the integrity of their listings.
