June 2024: MLS Innovator Network Recap & Insights

The MLS Innovator Network is an exclusive group of MLS & Association Executives who meet monthly to discuss the latest technology trends and hear pitches from two well-vetted PropTech companies. On June 12th, 2024, the Network heard pitches from two incredible PropTech companies: LandOnEarth and RESAAS.

 

Company #1: LandOnEarth

LandOnEarth, led by Mike McHenry and Mario Corona, presented how their home search platform is helping buyers find homes that match not just their home preferences, but also their lifestyle. The platform utilizes ChatGPT to help homebuyers quickly describe their ideal living environment and then score them so that they can understand which homes they match with the best. Although this platform focuses on the homebuyer, it also serves as a great tool for buyer agents to quickly understand their clients and better serve them by focusing only on homes they know their buyers will love.
 

Company #2: RESAAS

RESAAS, led by Tom Rossiter, presented how their networking platform is helping licensed real estate agents extract more value from their networks. RESAAS is most known for being a referral network for agents to find a great agent for their clients in the case of a relocation or investment purchase. The platform offers a simple way for agents to connect with other experienced agents and helps them leverage the networking effect to grow their businesses. Additionally, RESAAS also presented how their platform can be a great tool for MLSs to enable more member-to-member communication and sharing within their market.

Matt Fowler: Triangle MLS finalized Choice on June 4th, allowing subscribers to choose their MLS platform.

Hud Bixler and Jay Pepper-Martens: The San Francisco Association of Realtors was the first MLS to launch Sidekick AI to help their members be more efficient.

Brian Kinash: Saskatchewan Realtors Association passed a proposal for a complete restructuring of how they capture rural locations within their MLS System Database and are moving towards implementation and data backfill of the new model.

Greg Manship: BeachesMLS launched two new products with Freemodel and UtilityConnect.
